APRIL 2010 - "Lazarus Taxon" wins the "V Aurora´s Horror short-film Showcase" (Mexico)

MARCH 2010 - "Lazarus Taxon" included in SFF-rated Athens DVD. A double dvd including some of the best shorts screened in SFF-rated’s 2006-2009 editions.

OCTOBER- Denis Rovira is Nominated in the category "Best Directing" for the Grand OFF European Film Awards 2009. The Gala will be held in Warsaw on November 21st.

SEPTEMBER- Denis becomes new director in Álamo Films ( http://www.alamofilms.es).

JULY- "Lazarus Taxon" is accepted at the prestigious Scream Fest L.A. 2009 ( October 16th - 25th 2009 @ Grauman's Mann Chinese 6 - Hollywood & Highland)

JULY- New festival selection for "Lazarus Taxon" in USA: San Francisco Internacional Festival of Short Films and 4th Annual 2009 Tri-City Independent/Fan Film Festival; Also in Spain: Festival de cine Independiente de Elche and Filmets.

JUNE- “Lazarus Taxon” is selected at the Espoo Ciné International Film Festival/Nominated for the third time to the Silver Meliès Award

MAY- “Silences”, Navarra Government Inmigration´s campaing wins Sol de Oro at San Sebastián, Genio Award and a Bronce en FIAP. ¡Congratulations to GAP´s!


JUNE- “Worms” has been selected among the 10 gnere film projects that will be presented in front of 30 major French production and distribution in Paris june 18th and 19th. This meeting is organized by the ICEX and Film Commission d´Ille de France in collaboration with ICAA and VOD UniversCiné.

MARCH 2009 - LAZARUS TAXON has been selected to participate in the shorts program of the 25th Amsterdam Film Festival, which will run from April 15-26 2009.


FEBRUARY 2009 Lazarus Taxon has been selected for the 7th edition of the international short festival Salento Finibus Terrae which will take place at Salve, Nardò, Torre Santa Susanna, Carovigno, Mesagne, San Vito dei Normanni (Apulia, Italy) from 11 to 26 July 2009.
